GENERAL INFORMATION
Educational & Professional Resources, EPR, is a teacher recruitment agency that places foreign teachers who are graduates of the U.S. universities as well as out-of- the country teachers to work in school districts throughout the United States. EPR provides potential employers with an easy access to the licensed in the United States teachers’ information that will help determine if a teacher candidate is suitable to teach.

The following information is available to be viewed on the site:
1. Resume
2. Transcripts
3. License
4. DVD

TRANSCRIPTS
Given the fact that some of the teachers are graduates of universities located overseas, EPR uses Educational Perspectives, an evaluation company based out of Chicago, IL, to ensure that out-of-country transcripts are examined for accuracy and authenticity. Based on the results of evaluation, Educational Perspectives issues a report that includes information about the credential awarded and the U.S. equivalency. Educational Perspectives is a current member of National Association of Credential Evaluation Services, NACES group.

LICENSE
All EPR current clients are eligible to receive a teaching license in the United States. EPR ensures that all teacher candidates have completed an approved teacher education program in the United States or overseas.

DVD
The purpose of DVDs on the site is to give school districts a snapshot of potential candidates answering questions related to their philosophy of teaching, classroom management and their teaching experience.

H1B Visas
To be eligible for employment, teachers will need an H1B visa to teach at a school district in the United States. An H1B visa is a visa issued to a foreign professional who possesses a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in the area he will be employed. The visa can be issued up to six years. EPR has retained the professional immigration services of the Immigration Law Office of David N. Simmons, one of the leading immigration firms in the Southwest, to secure H1B visas and answer any legal question regarding the process of obtaining an H1B visa at no cost to school districts.

Over the years EPR has built a rapport with a number of school districts in the Southwestern states. EPR will gladly provide a potential employer with a list of school districts where teachers were successfully placed and a list of references.

To access teacher candidates’ pool and a list of references, please contact EPR to request a password to log in the system.
